Scale Model of a Tram Car

This scale model was made by Dick Bowser to show designers how the tram cars he invented could rotate inside a metal ring to keep their passengers level as they moved up the inside of the Arch on tracks.

Dick Bowser used a unique design for the tram cars that take riders to the top of the Arch. Watch the level as you turn the wheel to see how the capsules rotate as they are pulled along the chain.
